With the College Football Playoff set to take hold next season, programs around the country have begun to beef up their out-of-conference schedule.
On Tuesday the Miami Hurricanes and Cincinnati Bearcats announced a home-and-home series for the 2014 and 2015 seasons.
After years spent mired beneath the black cloud of an NCAA investigation, Coach Al Golden has the Hurricanes headed in the right direction.
Tommy Tuberville, who is in his first season with Cincinnati, has the Bearcats sitting pretty at 8-2 on the season.
Miami will welcome Cincinnati to Sun Life Stadium on Oct. 11, 2014, while the Hurricanes will return the favor and make a trip to Nippert Stadium on Oct. 3, 2015.
Miami holds a commanding, 10-1 all-time series lead over Cincinnati.
