Heat’s sleeved Christmas day jerseys draw mixed reviews from players

The Miami Heat will be one of 10 teams to wear adidas’ sleeved jerseys on Christmas day.

Much like the popular opinion of the public, LeBron James has voiced his displeasure with the unorthodox uniforms. James is concerned with how the jerseys will affect the team’s shooters. “I can’t have my shooters out there worrying about some sleeves and not shooting the ball,” James stated.

Following is a look at an unimpressed James wearing the practice version of the jerseys.

Fellow superstar Dwyane Wade, however, doesn’t seem to mind the sleeves.

According to Jason Lieser of The Palm Beach Post, Wade feels “fine” in the uniform cut.

As CBS Sports points out, the Golden State Warriors have seemed to perform fine while wearing the sleeved uniforms. Player frustrations could very well stem from a change to the norm. It’ll be interesting to hear James’ take following the first game wearing the jerseys.
