Michigan State fans are fired up for their first trip to the Rose Bowl since 1988. Now individuals hoping to make the trip to Los Angeles, but don’t have the cash-flow to do so, are in luck. The Michigan State University Federal Credit Union is offering Rose Bowl trip loans.
Qualified borrowers can obtain an 18-month loan between $1,000 and $2,000 with an APR as low as 6.9%.
Due to the holiday travel, it’s unlikely that even a $2,000 loan would be enough to pay for the trip, but it’s a start.
Michigan State knocked off previous-No. 2 Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship Game to win the conference’s bid to the Rose Bowl. The win also eliminated the Buckeyes from the BCS title game.
The Spartans will take on the Stanford Cardinal, who won the Pac-12 championship. The game is schedule for Wednesday, January 1, at 5:10 p.m. ET.
