The NHL Playoffs on Monday night were not going to be outdone by the NBA Playoffs, despite one of the most insane shots you’ll ever see from Kevin Durant.
Colorado and Minnesota played into overtime in Game 3. With the Wild backed against the wall and facing a potential 3-0 deficit in the series to the Avalanche, Mikael Granlund came through in the clutch. With 14:52 left to play in the OT period, Granlund created his own shot to score an incredible goal. The first Stanley Cup Playoff goal of his career could not have been scripted any better.
Here is a beautiful picture of the goal (via @NHL).
The Wild now trail 2-1 in the series. The next game is scheduled for Thursday (April 24) in Minnesota. For Minnesota Wild playoff tickets visit TiqIQ.com
