Mike Ditka picks Chicago to beat Green Bay, looks like a genius

Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a first-quarter injury, and the Chicago Bears took advantage. Led by a backup quarterback of their own in Josh McCown, the Bears left Lambeau Field with a 27-20 victory over the rival Packers.

Who would of thunk it? Ditka, that’s who.

Mike Ditka was the only member of ESPN’s ever-growing panel of pre-game analysts who picked Da Bears over the Pack on Monday night.

Of course, his pick may have been a bit biased. Ditka did enjoy a Hall of Fame career as a tight end in the Windy City, before leading Chicago to the franchise’s first and only Super Bowl win as its head coach.

But that’s just speculation. What we do know is that Ditka looks like a genius for the next week.
