The official unveiling of the new Minnesota Vikings stadium on Monday night could been even more memorable to a group of 300 lucky fans.

The organization announced that, after years of working with the city and then with a design team, the first look at the Vikes’ replacement for the Metrodome will be unveiled at 7 pm on Monday night. The unveiling will be held at Guthrie Theater and in order to drum up support, Minnesota will be giving 300 free tickets away to fans.

That’s right: According to CBS Minnesota, tickets will be handed out starting at 5 pm at the Metrodome on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The tickets are going to be made available at Gate B of the Dome, but for the rest of you hoping to check it out, never fear: The team will set to live stream the unveiling here.

As for the Metrodome, the stadium will be enjoying its swan song as the Vikings’ home in 2013. The franchise is hoping to be moving into its new digs by 2016, but the team recently reached an agreement with the University of Minnesota to play their games at the Gophers’ TCF Bank Stadium in 2014 and 2015.

Which is probably for the best, seeing as the Metrodome is pretty much on its last legs.
