Mississippi State pitcher made bearded Power Point promising College World Series berth

The Mississippi State baseball team was not supposed to earn a berth in the eight-team College World Series in 2013. Well, one player on the Bulldogs squad, pitcher Trevor Fitts, figured out a pretty interesting way to try to make such a big year happen.

But it was not going to be easy to convince his coach, John Cohen.

Fitts wanted to grow some facial hair, but coach Cohen had never allowed it on his team. Knowing, however, that his head man loves Power Point presentations, the young hurler put one together.

Facial hair = Wins = College World Series.

Chuck Norris definitely approves.
