The New York Mets chose the perfect day to debut a new set of jerseys. On Nov. 11, Veterans Day, the franchise unveiled the Mets’ new camouflage uniforms.
They new threads were first modeled by a smiling Jay Horwitz. Horwitz has been the Mets’ public relations guy for the last 34 years.
The jerseys feature a camo pattern with the Mets’ trademark script blue lettering across the front. The “Mets” and numerals are both outlined in orange, and there is an American flag on the left sleeve.
