The NBA season may be in full swing, but that’s not stopping LeBron James from attending Saturday’s Ohio State-Michigan game in Columbus, Ohio.
James is known for being a huge Buckeyes fan, especially since he grew up in Ohio. He’s been seen on the sideline of games before, so it’s no surprise he’ll be present for OSU’s biggest game this season.
James says a game of this magnitude is definitely on his “bucket list,” and he must be happy to be able scratch that one off.
The Ohio State-Michigan game is a huge one, with plenty of college football playoff implications. It’s the No. 2 Buckeyes against the No. 3 Wolverines and their whole football future is at stake.
James’ fandom goes beyond stadium seats and sideline access, the NBA legend has also provided the football team with cleats inspired by his Nike sneakers to wear against Michigan. They will officially be unveiled on Saturday ahead of the rivalry matchup.
Ohio State is also one of four schools whose basketball teams wear James’ apparel and sneakers.
