Nebraska Cornhuskers fan anti-recruiting for football team on Facebook

, , , ,

Nebraska Cornhuskers fans are passionate about their football team, but some are also apparently realists. One fan, via Facebook, offered a blunt assessment of the program to a potential recruit.

The team’s wide receivers coach Rich Fisher shared the following Facebook post on his Twitter feed.

The Cornhuskers finished at 8-4 on the year, and third in their Big Ten division. Early in the season, audio of head coach Bo Pelini speaking negatively about fans surfaced. Prominent members of the Nebraska family have also called for his ousting. Most recently, after losing to Iowa, Pelini seemingly dared the university to pull the trigger on his firing.

While Husker Tom’s description of the program is honest, it only makes Fisher and Pelini’s jobs more difficult. The Cornhuskers need good recruits in order to right the ship.
