On Wednesday, Mississippi State unveiled a teaser trailer promising a new set of uniforms for 2013. On Thursday, the Bulldogs, along with adidas, delivered with a brand-new set of threads for this season’s Egg Bowl matchup with hated-rival Ole Miss.
For the most part, the uniforms embrace the team’s traditional maroon. However, the numbers and the “HAIL STATE” printed on the front of the jersey above them are now gold. The gloves above feature the silhouette of the state of Mississippi with “STATE” across them, keeping in line with the school’s logo and branding.
There is also an “M-STATE” featured on the front left hip, a solid touch that adidas has featured on several new uniforms this season. Another adidas touch is the ribbing along the shoulders and across the torso.
