Photo: New Orleans Saints give out 75,000 blank towels to fans at Panthers game

TOPICS:
, , ,

The New Orleans Saints really threw a curve ball at fans attending Sunday night’s game against the Carolina Panthers. The Saints supplied 75,000 blank white towels as a giveaway.

Typically, a franchise will give away a piece of memorabilia with the team’s logo and/or some sort of slogan on it. Often times, a sponsor will also grace the items.

Could the Saints not find a sponsor, or did someone in the marketing department drop the ball? We aren’t quite sure of the method behind this madness, but it’s interesting to say the least.
