2014 NFL Pro Bowl Roster: Defense and Special Teams

The NFL has released the 2014 Pro Bowl rosters. This year the Pro Bowl will not be conference-specific. Rather, captains Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders will draft teams on Jan. 22 for the Jan. 26 game.

John Abraham is a notable entry in the game. Abraham went from being shortchanged in the offseason by the Falcons to a Pro Bowl slot for the Cardinals.

The past three AP Defensive Players of the Year (J.J. Watt, Terrell Suggs and Troy Polamalu) all made the game.

Rockstar kickers Matt Prater and Justin Tucker made the game. Robbie Gould, who recently signed a record-breaking contract, did not.

Players will undoubtedly be adjusted as the game draws closer, but below is the initial roster for defense and special teams.
