Let the games begin for one of the NFL’s top cornerbacks. On Wednesday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers released Darrelle Revis. He’s undoubtedly one of the hottest free agents on the market, and landing him will take a whole lot of cash flow.
But who is in the running for his services?
According to Dan Hanzus of NFL.com, seven teams were in contact with the Bucs regarding Revis before his release: the New England Patriots, Atlanta Falcons, Cleveland Browns, Oakland Raiders, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets.
With the loss of Aqib Talib to Denver, you’d have to imagine New England would be one of the frontrunners to land Revis. The star player has stated that he isn’t willing to take a pay cut, however, which could limit his potential suitors.
In an effort to try to predict Revis’ landing spot, we want to know what team you think he’ll be suiting up for in 2014.
