Fans and players alike have long been critical of the Pro Bowl. Even if the 2014 edition continues to lack the intensity of real games, Nike has at least given us a reason to tune in.
The Swoosh, along with the NFL, has unveiled new Elite 51 uniforms for the 2014 Pro Bowl.
AFC players will be sporting an all-white look, with gray numbers bordered in orange twill. Players will also rock orange gloves, cleats and socks.
Conversely, the NFC will suit up in metal gray uniforms, with lightly colored gray numbers. The biggest standout is easily a highlighter-yellow trim around the jerseys’ numerals. Players’ socks, cleats and gloves will also be neon-yellow.
In order to rep their teams, players from both sides will wear their standard helmets.
What do you think about the unconventional Pro Bowl threads? Pretty legit, or just Oregon State and Oregon jerseys repurposed for the National Football League?
