New York Giants fullback Nikita Whitlock claims burglars vandalized his house with racist graffiti when burglars broke into his New Jersey home on Tuesday night.
Whitlock says the graffiti included the letters “KKK,” a swastika, and the phrase “Go back to Africa,” obviously directed toward him for his race.
While no one in the home was hurt, Whitlock says the burglars robbed him of jewelry and video-game systems. He also said this is the second break-in at the home in the past month.
Whitlock is currently serving a ten game suspension for violating the NFL’s policy on PED’s.
This is just another example of the hate crimes that have been spewing around the country in recent months. The most shocking factor seems to be that these racists aren’t even afraid to target sports stars who are beloved by their fanbase.
“It just re-establishes that no matter where you are, no matter who you are, this can happen to you,” said Whitlock.
“It’s about to be 2017,” Nikita Whitlock said. “Oppression, racism, hatred, violence, there’s no need for that.”
The Moonachie Police Department continues to investigate this incident. Hopefully, they will be able to find these racist criminals and send them away for their crimes.
This hateful rhetoric is unacceptable and no one should have to experience these horrific instances.
