Peyton Manning Officially Cleared For PED And HGH Use

This past December, Al-Jazeera released a report suggesting that athletes in the NFL were taking human growth hormones or performance-enhancing drugs.

The report also stated that Super Bowl championship quarterback Peyton Manning had been receiving shipments of HGH from an anti-aging clinic in Indianapolis. Despite Manning’s denial of the allegations, the NFL took matters into their hands and began an investigation on the former NFL MVP and the other athletes accused in the report.

After a seven-month investigation, the NFL cleared Manning’s name on Monday. The league determined Manning never used HGH or any other performance-enhancing drug. The NFL released an official statement on Twitter:

The NFL will continue its investigations on the other players named in the report.
