Robert Griffin III is making another comeback.
The news of RGIII’s return was announced on Thursday when the Cleveland Browns said he would start against the Cincinnati Bengals this week.
Griffin started Week 1 for the Browns but was immediately sidelined after suffering a broken bone in his shoulder. The Browns primarily replaced Griffin with backup QBs Josh McCown and Cody Kessler, but even resorted to using wide receiver Terrelle Pryor under center during this tough season.
Tough season may just be an understatement, though. The Browns are currently 0-12 and trying to avoid becoming the second team in NFL history to finish a season 0-16.
Griffin joined the Browns last offseason and was hoped to be the catalyst to bring his career as well as the whole team around.
Let’s see what RGIII can bring a highly depleted and desperate franchise in the Cleveland Browns.
