Nick Saban laid down the law on Wednesday, booting the four players recently arrested from the Crimson Tide football team, according to the Associated Press (via Fox Sports).

Long story short, Linebackers D.J. Pettway and Tyler Hayes, safety Eddie Williams and H-back Brent Calloway physically abused a fellow Alabama student in order to steal his credit card.

For their actions, Pettway, Williams and Hayes were charged with two counts of second-degree robbery, while Williams and Calloway were charged with fraudulent use of a credit card.

They also have received a one-way ticket out of town from Saban, who state that the players “are no longer associated with the football program.” He also went on to say that their “actions do not reflect the spirit and character we want our organization to reflect.”

For Saban and Alabama it was a move that had to be made. For the players, hopefully they can get their careers on the right track.
