Stop the presses, Nick Saban is in Texas. Unfortunately for Longhorns fans drooling at the mouth right now, it’s for the good of Alabama.

Saban was scheduled to visit two Texas prep stars, Tony Brown (Beaumont) and Zach Whitely (Houston), during the day, according to 247Sports.

Brown is a 6’0, 188-pound five-star defensive back prospect. He’s ranked as the No. 4 cornerback and No. 23 overall player in the class of 2014. He’s considered to be an LSU lean at this time, but Alabama, Texas, Ohio State and Florida State are hot on his trail.

Whitely is a 6’2, 220-pound four-star linebacker prospect who is currently committed to the Crimson Tide. He’s listed by 247Sports as the No. 5 inside linebacker and No. 108 overall prospect for 2014.

Alabama’s recruiting class is currently has a total of 23 commits and is ranked No. 1 in the country.
