Ohio State defensive end Noah Spence did not travel with the team to Miami, according to a report from The Columbus Post Dispatch. His status for the Orange Bowl is up in the air, as coach Urban Meyer has not yet ruled out the stud sophomore.
When asked why Spence didn’t make the trip to South Florida, Meyer said he was “working on some personal issues at home.”
Spence played in all 13 games this season for the Buckeyes, leading the team with 7.5 sacks. His 14 tackles for a loss were good for second on the team, behind only All-American linebacker Ryan Shazier.
