The official 40-yard dash times for the running backs at the 2014 NFL Combine are in, and Kent State’s Dri Archer is the clear winner. Archer scorched the entire field with a 4.26-second 40, which is only .02 behind Chris Johnson’s combine record of 4.24.
The next closest back was Jerick McKinnon, who was .15-seconds slower than Archer with a 4.41.
Surprisngly, De’Anthony Thomas wasn’t in the top 10 of fastest tailbacks. He recorded just a 4.50.
