Oklahoma State showcases massive, new training facility

On Dec. 4 Oklahoma State Athletics released a video showcasing its new Sherman E. Smith Training Center. The facility is massive, and one more boon to the Cowboys’ program.

According to athletic director Mike Holder, the new complex is 92,000 sq. ft. The inside training corridor has a 65 ft. clear span, and aircraft hanger doors that open to the outside fields.

There are three fields: one with artificial turf; two with natural grass. Holder says that the facilities are “the best you can possibly have.” He also acknowledges the affect such nice amenities can have on recruiting, and how they will further propel the ascending program.
