Twitter has become the way for recruits to announce their college decisions over the past couple of years, and now it is apparently also the means for football players to announce their departure from programs as well.

Ole Miss linebacker Ralph Williams announced his decision to leave the Rebels football program via Twitter on Tuesday.

Williams has been with the program since 2010, and during the ’11 and ’12 seasons he recorded 53 tackles and 5.5 tackles for loss in 22 games played.
