First-year USC Trojans head coach Andy Enfield is recruiting frat row in an effort to drum up support for his basketball program.
At this time last year, the nation had yet to be introduced to Enfield. His supermodel wife, Amanda Marcum, was arguably more famous than he was. Enfield would go on to coach FGCU into the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, as well as make “Dunk City” a household name across the country. He parlayed the Tourney run into a high-paying job at USC, but it will take more than a good-looking wife to fill the stands of the Galen Center. After all, the Trojans averaged a league-worst 3,970 fans per home game a year ago.
So what will it take to get fans in the stands? It’ll take sorority girls. Lots of them.
It looks like Enfield has picked up right where he left off in Fort Meyers. Talk about a silver tongue devil right here.
