Virginia Tech and Tennessee are set to square off in the massive Bristol Motor Speedway in 2016. In order to show the world exactly how much larger the racecourse is than a mere football field, Tennessee superimposed a photo of the Vols’ Neyland Stadium inside Bristol. The 100,000-plus seat venue was dwarfed by the track.
On Monday, Virginia Tech did the exact same thing with its own Lane Stadium. With a far smaller capacity of 66,233, the stadium looks puny compared to Bristol.
The 2016 game is expected to set an all-time attendance record of more than 150,000 fans.
