The ESPN announcing crew of Jesse Palmer, David Pollack and Sam Ponder are in Atlanta gearing up for Georgia Tech’s Thursday night showdown against Virginia Tech.

The game is serving as a nationally televised celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Yellow Jackets’ Grant Field. For the occasion, Tech will be wearing throwback, alternate white jerseys – which they have gifted to the crew.

On the surface, it looks like a fantastic gesture, and it is. Unless you’re Pollack, of course. Pollack was an absolute star as a one-man wrecking ball with the Georgia Bulldogs before moving onto the NFL.

Needless to say, he doesn’t like rival Georgia Tech very much. At the very least, he never pictured a No. 47 “Pollack” jersey with any “GT” logos on it. The man looks like he’s being a pretty good sport, but that is a face of a rival – make no mistake.

Fantastic troll job, Tech. Well played.
