The Florida Gators’ most talented wide receiver, Andre Debose, tore his ACL in training camp. Their starting quarterback, Jeff Driskel, broke his fibula against Tennessee. Florida’s coach, Will Muschamp, believes passing is akin to eating a hot dog that’s been rolling under a gas station heat – not good.
As a result, Quinton Dunbar’s 231 reception yards lead the team. Hey, if your dreams are to finish well outside the top 100 nationally in that category (Dunbar is currently tied for 133rd nationally), it looks wide receivers coach Joker Phillips has just the campus for you.
A lot of Phillips’ Twitter photoshops work, but what we have here is a pretty bad fail – just like the Gators’ passing game the last few seasons, zing!
