On Monday, we learned that the NBA is contemplating putting nicknames on players’ jerseys for one meeting between the Miami Heat and Brooklyn Nets next season.

The idea is, well, an interesting one – and it got us thinking. Thanks to the programmers who put together the NBA’s Custom Shop, we were able to explore what those jerseys might look like for some of the best players on each of the two teams involved.

Do you think you would score one of these jerseys? In all honesty, we designed these, but we passed on the $79.95 sticker price.

Would Chris Bosh be a “Raptor?” We sure hope so.

Chris “Birdman” Anderson would definitely be a fan favorite.

Dwayne Wade might not be able to go with “Flash” due to copyright laws, but he likes “Three” as well – it helps to be a three-time champion.

Paul Pierce’s Brooklyn jersey looks odd as it is, and seeing “The Truth” might be even more wild.

Kevin Garnett merely goes by “KG.” Yes, he’s a boss.
