The Louisville Cardinals athletic department probably enjoyed the strongest year of any men’s side in the nation. Coach Rick Pitino’s basketball team won the national title, the baseball squad made it all the way to Omaha for the College World Series and, of course, QB Teddy Bridgewater and Co. dismantled Florida for the Sugar Bowl crown.

Now, it looks like the Cards will be getting next year’s athletics run off on the right foot – quite literally.

Above is a photo of the cleats Louisville’s football team will be sporting for the fall season, made by adidas. There are three different shapes for the unique needs of the positions on the field. All, however, feature a slick, script “L” on the heel and a Cardinals face moving away from it.

What do you think of the Cards’ new kicks? As always, sound off in the comments section below!
