Ray Lewis was not able to reach the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro when he hurt his foot and then came down with the flu mid-climb. Despite the disappointment, the retired NFL star was still able to make a pleasant diplomatic gesture during a goodwill tour of the African continent.

He, along with former Pro Bowler Tommy Harris and Brad Pitt’s brother, Doug, visited the president of Tanzania, Jikaya Kilwete.

Not to be considered a poor visitor, Lewis presented Kilwete with a gift: None other than a Baltimore Ravens hat.

The group is in Africa raising awareness for the dire need for clean drinking water all over the continent.
