Now that Robinson Cano has signed a $240 million contract with the Seattle Mariners, he can do all kinds of fun things, such as: catch a fish in Pike Place Market, hike Mount Ranier, go boating on Puget Sound, and even grow a beard.
Having spent his entire career with the New York Yankees, Cano was never allowed to grow a beard. Per Yankees rules, the only facial hair players can grow is a mustache.
Since he’s out on the “Left Coast,” Cano can finally let his freak flag fly. Behold: the $240 million beard.
