The TCU Horned Frogs moseyed on into the home of Big 12 giants, the Texas Longhorns, and left with a shocking, 20-13, victory.

After facing the Texas A&M Aggies on every Thanksgiving Day from 1915 until a season ago, the Aggies’ final season in the conference before making the switch to the SEC, most amongst Longhorns Nation did not know what to make of their new Thanksgiving Day matchup in conference newbies TCU.

Well, now they know precisely what to feel: Hatred for a brand new Thanksgiving Day rival with the gall to derail the Longhorns’ once-promising, but now three-loss season.

Many fans will continue to lament the loss of the Texas-Texas A&M rivalry, but if TCU continues to impress against the Big 12 kingpins, Texas will find itself looking forward to this new annual conflict before they know it.

As for fans of TCU, this was a Turkey Day game to be thankful for.
