This offseason, we have seen several stadiums nationwide unveil massive new video boards. The Denver Broncos did so during a Major League Lacrosse game. The Houston Texans showed theirs off during a news segment.
None, however, have invited thousands of fans onto the field to enjoy a viewing of “Remember the Titans.” Until now, of course.
The Wisconsin Badgers have spent the last several months building a huge new video screen to replace the old one in beautiful Camp Randall Stadium. Seriously, it’s huge: According to UWBadgers.com, this bad boy measures in an 50 feet high and 170 feet wide and is nearly four times larger than what the school had in place before.
Thousands of people took to the Wisconsin Badgers Facebook page to vote on what movie would be shown during the first “Movie Night at Camp Randall,” and we could not think of a better choice.
