Oklahoma State unveils newly finished indoor practice facility

Oklahoma State defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer tweeted out a look at the Cowboys’ newly finished indoor practice faciliy — or, as he termed it, the Boys’ “new proving grounds.”

While the playing surface inside is called AstroTurf, it’s not nearly the same, torn-ACL-waiting-to-happen Turf players ran around on in the ’80s. This stuff is as close to natural grass as it gets, and it is big enough to allow for every school sport to use it. No joke: According to CoachingSearch.com, this facility is spacious enough to fit a full baseball infield.

This building is just one more monumental step for the football program as OK State continues its climb towards a sustained level of elite Big 12 and national play.
