Take a deep breath, Blackhawks fans. The superstar of your Stanley Cup-winning side, Patrick Kane, is not wearing a Capitals sweater – although it does look a bit like one.
The Team USA hockey team is currently holding a pre-Olympic training camp in the D.C. area, and the team was honored at a Nationals game. Kane is one of the biggest names on the squad, so the winger got a bit of special treatment.
That includes a one-of-a-kind, Washington Nationals version of his trademark No. 88 jersey and a pre-game interview with Lindsey Covert.
Good times, but can you imagine the teams that will be lining up to make him exclusive threads if he can bring home a gold from Sochi wearing his Team USA jersey?
