One week and counting until the first Saturday of the 2012 season. One week until players finally get to relieve the tension of pre-season camp on the opposing team.

One week, not too long right? According to, it was for Auburn center Reese Dismukes.

Dismukes, who started all 13-games last season and received freshman All-American honors, was arrested Saturday morning, around 2 a.m., for public intoxication. Dismukes has already been released on a $300 bond.

Dismukes was Auburn’s top option at center heading into the season, and was a blossoming offensive line star in the making. The Tiger’ backup to Dismukes is sophomore Tunde Fariyike.

The university has not released any statements on the arrest. (*Update* Dismukes Suspended)

Auburn will face 2011 ACC Champion Clemson next Saturday in Atlanta for the Chik-fil-A Kickoff Game.
