Not all is well is Tuscaloosa, where the Alabama Crimson Tide recently brought home the program’s second consecutive BCS National Championship and third in four years.

Fansided has reported that the cheerleaders’ bus, carrying 31 people, was involved in an accident involving two other vehicles. However, information is sparse at the moment.

University spokeswoman Deborah Lane has officially stated that the Alabama cheerleaders got into an accident while busing home from Miami to the Alabama campus, seriously injuring a fellow student in another vehicle.

Luckily, no one on the bus or in another car that was involved was hurt. However, Lane said that the injured student was riding home from the game with three other friends in a pickup truck. He sustained life-threatening injuries but is currently listed in stable condition.

Thoughts from everyone here at Gamedayr are with the injured student, and we are wishing him a happy and speedy recovery.
