Report: Kellen Winslow suspended four games for PEDs

New York Jets tight end Kellen Winslow has reportedly been suspended four games by the NFL for PEDs.

Winslow sat out Wednesday and Thursday from practice because of his surgically repaired right knee, and on Friday was absent once again, according to Chris Mortensen.

Winslow leads the team with 17 catches, and has contributed two touchdowns and 169 receiving yards.

Rookie quarterback Geno Smith will now be forced to get comfortable with another target in Winslow’s absence.

The Jets will play the Steelers, Patriots, Bengals (away), and Saints during Winslow’s suspension.
