Apparently cats have had enough of the whole “dogs are a man’s best friend” thing, because lately our feline friends have been stealing all the headlines. It started this week with a cat saving a little boy’s life by raging against an attacking dog. Now one college has landed a high school football recruit by sending the prospect’s cat a letter.
Rice reeled in 3-star quarterback J.T. Granato on Thursday by switching the game up and showing some love to Kitty Granato. Rice co-offensive coordinator Billy Lynch wrote the following to Granato’s cat:
“As you know we’re trying to convince J.T. Rice is the place for him. I knew you’d like to keep him close so he can feed you and change the litter box. Please help us to get him to choose us. Paw me if you have any questions.”
Paw me if you have any questions? You better be paying attention Conference USA.
