NFL reviewing Richie Incognito’s racially charged messages

The NFL is reportedly reviewing evidence that led to the suspension of Miami Dolphins guard Richie Incognito. According to ESPN, Incognito sent threatening, racially-charged text messages, and at least one voicemail, to rookie Jonathan Martin. Martin left the team early last week, alleging player misconduct.

Below is a drafted transcript from a voice message that both the league and Dolphins are reviewing.

“Hey, wassup, you half n—– piece of s—. I saw you on Twitter, you been training 10 weeks. [I want to] s— in your f—— mouth. [I’m going to] slap your f—— mouth. [I’m going to] slap your real mother across the face [laughter]. F— you, you’re still a rookie. I’ll kill you.”

Despite the evidence against him, Incognito has maintained his innocence.
