On NBA opening night, Roy Hibbert picked up right where he left off in last season’s playoffs. With his Indiana Pacers hosting the Orlando Magic, Hibbert reasserted his dominance down low.
When Magic forward Jason Maxiell drove into the lane during the third quarter, he was greeted by the Pacers’ lean enforcer. Maxiell elevated, trying to throw down a dunk, but was rejected. Hibbert met Maxiell at the rim, knocked the ball away, and ignited a fast break.
Let’s hope Maxiell doesn’t like the state of Indiana too much, because Hibbert owns all the real estate in Greater Indianapolis.
