The Seattle-San Francisco rivalry will add another chapter to its book on Sunday, Jan. 19. Colin Kaepernick, fresh off of a big win over the Carolina Panthers, will take his 49ers into CenturyLink Field to face off against Russell Wilson’s Seahawks. Wilson led Seattle to a home win over New Orleans in the second round of the playoffs.
According to VegasInsider.com, the opening point spread for the game has been set at -3.5 in favor of Seattle. One thing to remember is that this line will likely shift as we approach game time.
This will mark the third meeting of the season between the two clubs. They split the regular-season series, with each team winning on its home turf.
Seattle’s 12th Man has proven to be a bear for opposing teams. The Seahawks lost just once at home this season, a 17-10 defeat at the hands of Arizona.
Kickoff of the game is set for 6:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
