Following a slew of big-time SEC games in Week 5, ESPN’s David Ching has updated his 2013 conference bowl game projections.
After shutting out a very good Ole Miss squad, Alabama remains entrenched at No. 1 in the nation and projected to compete for the BCS national championship.
The relative strength of the league means it should send a second team to a BCS game with an at-large invite. As things currently stand, that bid is reserved for Texas A&M, but Georgia could very easily step into that spot with more wins like the one the Bulldogs enjoyed over LSU.
