Following a big slate of games during Week 10 of the 2013 college football season, ESPN has updated its SEC bowl projections.
For the first time in what feels like a long time, all the favorites managed to pull through. With a dominating performance against Arkansas, the conference’s presumed second BCS bid is still in Auburn’s hands. Gus Malzahn has done wonders with a team that looked terrible in only winning three games a year ago.
If Missouri wins out, however, the Tigers could easily claim the second BCS bid, or at least slide past South Carolina and into the Capital One Bowl.
Surprisingly, a Florida team that was supposed to compete for a championship is instead slotted for the BBVA Compass Bowl – below Tennessee’s invite.
Mighty Alabama was on a bye week, but is still the No. 1-ranked team in the nation.
