It’s an exciting time for soccer fans in Orlando, FL. Renderings for Orlando City SC’s future downtown stadium were recently unveiled, and now the team has welcomed new signee Kaka to the city. The Brazilian attacking midfielder won’t actually join the team until 2015, but that didn’t stop Orlando from celebrating its first Designated Player.
Fans packed Orlando International Airport on Monday, giving Kaka a glimpse of the support he can expect once he actually takes the pitch for Orlando City SC.
Following is video of the city’s new superstar arriving.
From the sound of this Orlando City SC tweet, Kaka will even be treated to an American World Cup experience on Tuesday.
