Even Florida Gators fans will laugh at Steve Spurrier’s latest pot shot.
During a media session with the Capital One Bowl on Thursday, Spurrier had a great idea for Gator Nation this bowl season. Spurrier stated to reporters, ”Somebody told me the Gators are staying home for the holidays, maybe we can get a bunch of Gators to come to our game.”

The swag never sways with the Ol’ Ball Coach.
Spurrier coached the Gamecocks to a 10-2 regular season record, while his alma mater finished at an abysmal 4-8 under third-year head coach Will Muschamp.
Seeing that Orlando is populated by Florida fans, maybe watching their old hero try to beat up on a Big Ten team wouldn’t be such a bad time.
