Twitter Takes: Reactions to Golden State knocking Denver out of playoffs in epic Game 6

It was not easy. Despite an 80-62 lead over Denver with just over eight minutes to play in the game, Golden State was forced to hold on at the very end for the Game 6 victory over the Nuggets, 92-88.

The win sent third-seeded Denver home far earlier than coach George Karl’s squad had anticipated, and it shot the Warriors’ Steph Curry into stardom.

There is no other way to describe Curry’s 22-point, eight assist night and the way he carried his team on his back throughout the series.
