Super Bowl XLVIII suite prices have eclipsed the $1 million mark

It’s a good thing Russell Wilson and Richard Sherman are playing in Super Bowl XLVIII. With their salaries, they couldn’t afford to buy any luxury suites, which are quickly making their way north of the $1 million price range.

Business Insider points out that one suite on MetLife Stadium’s Commissioner’s Level is going for $1.019 million. The same box typically sells for $350,000 for an entire season.

Fans around the nation may have been apprehensive about a cold-weather Super Bowl, but that hasn’t been reflected in the price of tickets.
