Tajh Boyd knows a thing or two about running an elite offense. His Clemson Tigers’ offensive unit averaged a whopping 41.0 points per game in 2012 and have piled up 45.0 through its first two games in 2013. The quarterback is one of a select few individuals in the thick of the Heisman Trophy hunt.
When the young man dispenses advice, one might be wise to listen. However, no one expected him to provide any to members of an opposing team.
That is exactly what happened, however, thanks to the wonderful world of Instagram. Wake Forest senior wide receiver Mike Campanaro posted the below image to his account. He had scored the team’s only touchdown in a 24-10 loss to Boston College on Saturday.
Who is that first commenter underneath the caption? None other than Boyd, urging the wideout to try to get Wake to abandon its run-option game plan – which isn’t exactly a bad idea.
The Demon Deacons only managed to rush for 55 yards on 39 attempts, good for a 1.41-yard average. Like we said, if Boyd is dispensing offensive advice, it might be best to listen.
